• 1986—Our Beginning
• BASE INTERNATIONAL Casa de Cambio was born in the city of Monterrey, Nuevo Leon, in February of 1986, aiming to satisfy the foreign exchange needs of the business and corporate world.
• 1999—Technological evolution and opening of our first branches
• We evolved using leading edge technology, reaching the forefront in operating methods.
  
  We hired the best-trained personnel, with the widest experience in the trade to better advise and serve our clients.
  
  We opened branches in Mexico City and Guadalajara.
• 2000—We were the first rated Foreign Exchange firm in Mexico by Standard and Poor's
• In February, we obtained the Standard & Poor’s rating, making us the first Foreign Exchange broker to become qualified by this world-renowned firm.
• 2004—Opening of the Queretaro branch
• 2005—We became a Full Brokerage Dealer, opened the Torreon branch, and enhanced our image through a change of our logo and our institutional colours.
• In late 2005, we received our license to operate as a Full Brokerage Dealer.
  
  We opened a new branch in Torreon, Coahuila.
  
  In October the BASE Logo was graphically changed.
  
  
• 2006—Our 20th Anniversary
• In January, we met our infrastructure investment program.
  In February, we became 20 years old
  
  In March, we hosted the largest radio news in Mexico with Pedro Ferriz who broadcasted nationally its entire program from our Head Office in Monterrey.
  
  
• 2007—International Expansion, two new branches in Mexico
• We opened a new representation office in Toronto, Canada.
  
  We opened two new branches: one in Tijuana, Baja California and another in Reynosa, Tamaulipas.
  
  We are recognized as one of the 60 best firms to work for by Expansion Magazine.
  
  Creation of the Strategy and Innovation area
  
  
• 2008—Opening of another branch and our team continues to grow.
• Opening of a new branch in Aguascalientes.
  
  As of October, we already are over 300 people working at BASE.
